On Thursday October 20th, students enrolled in the Diploma of Beauty Therapy showed the college, as well as visiting family and friends their new skills in make-up application – dazzling them with creativity and impressive technical skill.
During the October long weekend, the Australasian College Broadway hosted its first Regional WorldSkills competition for Beauty students. The College again proved its training excellence as its students took out Gold, Silver and Bronze for the Beauty Regionals.
On Wednesday May 18, The Australasian College Broadway hosted a presentation to award seven educators from the college the International Professional Standards Network (IPSN) Hairdressing Certification.
In early May, Heart Kids NSW, a support group for families of children with heart disease, be it congenital (born with) or acquired, teamed up with the Australasian College Broadway, Australia’s leading private Hairdressing, MakeUp and Beauty College, to pamper twelve mothers in need of a little pick me up during what has been very difficult times for them and their families.
The Australasian College Broadway have once again given back to the community when, earlier this month, 20 of its staff and students offered their services to Mt. Druitt’s homeless providing free haircuts and styling.
